Modeling is a form of empowerment. Every girl and woman have varied types of body and some become models to diversify what the population sees on billboards and screens. It’s a form of revolt against standardization of beauty, while it still brings the vain superficial knowledge of us and our connection with other people. It detaches us from our inner self to a certain extent and it can create jealousy, envy and most women go through it every day.
Because people make a judgement of what they see, when I model, I always try to bring something different on the table, something that brings authenticity rather than just another pretty girl showing off her body to get attention.
